Yes!...set the captives free...
I really liked some of the lines. Also, what kind of owl was it?I really liked aspects of: when an owldisturbs branchesand the moon startles them with lightExcept for the fact I didn't know who "their eyes" and "startles them" related to.all my best,AlanAlan’s Area 17 blog.
I particularly like the last line of the tanka.R K
I agree, I really like that last line!AlanAlan’s Area 17 blog.
..thanks all--casa da poesia\alan\and R.K.--much appreciateyour taking the time to comment....Alan..i think this one of thepoems which spirit Harmony flewthrough me and i liked it immediately on first read..so, it didn't ask for any sort of revisionwhich i sometimes do..i guess i could have asked, 'which sort of owl' but the harmony was there already and i didn't want to mess with it..the poem is pretty simple(at least, i hope it is)..the people of start of poem are the same as they of the end of poem..i thank for raising these concernsand wonder if some other readers find the poem as somewhat confusingas you do..much appreciation....spiros
It serves no purpose to read, academically speaking, to confuse! Here almost all of us read to enjoy!!R K
