too much beauty

dusk in their eyes

dusk in their eyes
suddenly finds reprieve
when an owl
disturbs branches
and the moon startles them with light

I really liked some of the lines.

Also, what kind of owl was it?

I really liked aspects of:

when an owl
disturbs branches
and the moon startles them with light

Except for the fact I didn't know who "their eyes" and "startles them" related to.

all my best,

..thanks all--casa da poesia\alan\
and R.K.--much appreciate
your taking the time to comment..

..Alan..i think this one of the
poems which spirit Harmony flew
through me and i liked it immediately on first read..so, it didn't ask for any sort of revision
which i sometimes do..i guess i could have asked, 'which sort of owl' but the harmony was there already and i didn't want to mess with it..the poem is pretty simple
(at least, i hope it is)..the people of start of poem are the same as they of the end of poem..i thank for raising these concerns
and wonder if some other readers find the poem as somewhat confusing
as you do..much appreciation..

It serves no purpose to read, academically speaking, to confuse! Here almost all of us read to enjoy!!
